Hello! Welcome to our world of fun! Here at the Children’s Festival we firmly believe that children should be given every opportunity to play, learn and have fun. Look around our website to discover what we offer children and their families.
We are delighted to announce that our weekly Stay-and-Play sessions will re-open on 3rd December 2020. (See Toy Library page for info)
Please note that the Toy Library loans are also available to members, as is our toy delivery service. Please see the Toy Library page for information.
Frome Children’s Festival started in 2014 and has grown from a single event to offering several events and activities throughout the year. Our aim is to support our local community by offering good quality activities for children and their families, either free or at very low cost, so that everyone can attend. Our emphasis is on creativity, exploration, imagination and fun! We aim to make all our activities as accessible as possible, with special consideration given to children with additional needs. Our events are all about families enjoying activities together, so we ask parents or carers to stay with their children or remain responsible for them – we don’t do childcare!
Unfortunately during this difficult time our services (such as Family Holiday Fun Sessions) are not universal but we look forward to the end of the Tier-based ruling and to once again becoming a service for ALL Frome families – as soon as that is possible again.
Our ‘Save The Toy Library’ campaign continues.
We still need to secure the Toy Library’s future beyond the next 12 months.
We are still in need of business sponsorships from companies willing to fund us every year.
We also welcome your kind individual donations – monthly, regular donations are most welcome as are kind one-off gifts. These can be made via Local Giving appeal here … even £5 can and will continue to Save The Toy Library. Thank you!
Send us your pictures (via FB or email) of your creations and we’ll post them on our social media
We’re very aware that many families will be challenged over the next few weeks and we’ll be working with other local organisations to find alternative ways to support those most in need. Do keep an eye out on social media for details of alternative family support available.
This is a challenging and worrying time for us all – a time when we, as a community, need to support each other as best we can. As an organisation we will be doing our utmost to help support those in need. Look after yourself and those around you.
